40 DAYS of FIRE

Beginning on June 6th and over the coarse of the next 40 days we at Abundant Life will begin a journey to seek the face of God with a humble heart that the Fire of God's Spirit will ignite us, purify us, and UNITE us. This is a journey to draw closer to God... and we invite you to join with us.

This 40 day journey isn’t simply another program or sermon series, nor is it an attempt to produce any source of false hype. But, this journey is an endeavor to rekindle the fires of revival in each of us, in our families, in our church, and in our community. It is a journey to sincerity, to a renewed passion, to a new set of priorities, and to an unparalleled unity within the Body of Christ.

How will we accomplish such an endeavor? By humbling ourselves before the the throne of God, seeking His face, and repenting...turning from our self-centered ways and towards a new direction in Christ. And after turning from those things, we seek to catch the Fire through these 6 areas:

 Fire through the Word of God
    Fire through Prayer and Fasting
    Fire through Faithfulness to the Body of Christ
    Fire through our Worship
    Fire through our Giving
    And, Fire through Evangelism and Discipleship

To aid in this journey we have developed a 40 Day Devotional that will accompany you.  Each week we will focus on one of the above areas and for each day of that week you will be challenged to pursue the Fire through those areas.

We have also developed a Fire Starter Guide which discusses the thought and principle behind each themed week of the 40 day journey and provides a prayer guide and fasting schedule /guide for the journey.

We invite you to join us in our pursuit of the Fire every Sunday at 2:15pm, every Wednesday at 7:30pm and during our special service times which are as follows:

Friday and Saturday, June 11-12 at 7:30pm each night // guest speaker: Rev. Jeff Goodman

Saturday, June 26th at 7:30pm // guest speaker: Rev. Wayne Francis
